Yolanda Brazier, age 68, passed away on October 2, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM, surrounded by her family. She was born to Lewis C. Brazier and Virginia L. Brazier on March 28, 1956 in Plainview, TX.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Happy Union Baptist Church Plainview, Texas with Pastor Richard Miller officiating and Bishop Leonard Chatham presenting the Eulogy. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Yolanda was an active member of Happy Union Baptist Church in Plainview. Her commitment to her faith extended to her time in Albuquerque, NM, where she remained deeply involved in Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. Yolanda's passions included reading, baking, knitting, sewing, crocheting, and bringing people together through family gatherings. Her nurturing spirit was evident in her love for taking care of others, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. Additionally, she cherished the experiences gained from her travels. Throughout her career, Yolanda held impactful roles such as Academic Advisor at Wayland Baptist University, residential supervisor at Central Plains MHMR, and admissions clerk at Covenant Hospital. Her dedication and service left a lasting impression on those around her.

Yolanda leaves to cherish her memories: Her sons, Brian and wife Rochelle Brazier of Albuquerque, NM, Christopher Brazier Sr. of Albuquerque, NM. Her life partner, David Brown of Albuquerque, NM. Her brothers, Roberts Woods and Fiancé Mary Hallcy of Plainview, TX and Eric Woods and wife Latosha of Midland, TX. five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. And numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Yolanda is proceeded in death by her parents, Lewis Brazier, Virgina Woods and Norman Woods. Her brother, Kevin Woods. Her sister, Cathy Rosborough.
