Funeral services for Willie "Faye" Stidom, 67 of Plainview will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday December 29, 2011 in Bartley Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gloria Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. A visitation wil be held on Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. She died on Thursday December 22, 2011 in Lubbock. She was born on June 15, 1944 in DeKalb, TX to Elizabeth Hunter and Leon Barnes. She married Frank Walton in April of 1965 and later Mack Stidom in May of 1983. She attended Booker T. Washington High school and received her GED. She graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 1992 with an associate's degree in Business. She worked for both Missouri Beef (now Excel) and Tommy Lewis Industrials for 13 years. She was a member of Happy Union Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing. She is survived by four daughters, Pamela Brown of Amarillo, Gail Myers of Lubbock, Tina Walton of Houston and Andrea Stidom of Plainview; six brothers, Charles Phillips of Plainview, Donny Phillips of Lubbock, D.R. Hearn of Las Vegas, NV, R.V. Barnes of Tampa, FL, Donald Wayne Barnes of Amarillo and Leon Barnes Jr. of Lubbock; three sisters, Lena Cofer of Ft. Worth, Nora Jackson of Faris, CA and Rosemary Hill of Amarillo. She was preceded in death by both parents, a brother, a daughter and a son. Online condolences may be made to bartleycares@gmail.com.
