Verna Wortham, 92, of Plainview, passed from this life on September 9, 2019. A memorial service will be held at Bartley Funeral Home on September 12, 2019 at 2p.m.
Verna was born to Floyd and Mary (Fuller) Curtis on July 16, 1927 in Phoenix, Arizona. Verna enjoyed crafts and making jewelry to give out to the residents at Prairie House Living Center. She was known for her spunky and feisty attitude. Verna was well organized and always in style. She loved her family and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by 6 children and a host of grandchildren.
Verna is preceded in death by her parents, 5 children, and 2 brothers.
