Trina White, 56, of Plainview passed away from this life on July 17, 2024, in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday July 20, 2024, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Plainview, Texas with Bishop Leonard Chatham officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday July 19, 2024, from 6-8PM at Bartley Memorial Chapel.
Trina was born on May 23, 1968, to James White and Arlene Nails in Plainview, Texas.
Trina was known for being a strong pillar for her family and impacted a lot of people through her years. She was graceful at everything she did and was a fighter and a God-fearing woman. Trina was a great creative cook, enjoying smacking while she was eating, which made everyone want to at least taste what she was eating because she made it sound so good. Her grandkids were really special to her, she had a purse full of wonders including everything from candy to first aid kit, if you needed it, it was probably in her purse. She also loved to watch cartoons.
Ms. White is preceded in death by her parents, James and Arlene White and a brother, James White, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Demetris and wife Neva White of Plainview, TX, Darris and wife Stacey White of Plainview, TX, Shalee White of Arlington, TX, Earnest Marshall and wife Makayla Torres of Plainview, TX. Her sisters Sharon"Kaye" White of Amarillo, TX, Joyce and husband Jerome Carter of Lexington, TX, Stepfany White of Arlington, TX, Chanequea and husband Fredrick Stickland of Tulia, TX, Sally White of Waco, TX and Yvonne Matthews of Atlanta, TX. Her brothers Ron White of Plainview, TX, Tony White of Tulia, TX and Justin White of Waco, TX.
Her 12 grandchildren, DaShawn Ards, Damarius White, Dalazia White, Demetris White, Jr., Drakavian White, D'Aubrione White, D'Zayelei White, Darris White, II, Kaizen Banks, Trendon Thomas, Mia Marshall, and Lazarus Marshall. And one great-grandchild Cain Ards.
