Funeral Mass for Tomas Flores, Sr. 79 of Plainview will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Raymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Flores died Thursday, June 19, 2014 in Plainview. He was born October 5, 1934 in Watonga, Oklahoma to Tomas and Jacinta Salazar Flores. He married Alejandra Ramirez on April 25, 1965 in Plainview. He worked for Lockney Gin for many years. He is survived by his wife, Alejandra Flores of Plainview; 1 son, Tomas Flores, Jr. of Plainview; 1 daughter, Rosemary Flores of Plainview; 1 sister, Lucy Cortez of Dallas; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Flores, Michael Flores, Cindi Soliz, Chrystal Garcia, Lee E. Garcia and Gabriel Gonzalez; 11 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, 1 daughter, Adelita Flores, 5 brothers and 9 sisters.
