Timothy Donald
Taylor
October 13, 1958 – April 7, 2025
Timothy Donald Taylor passed away on April 7, 2025, in Plainview, TX. Cremation arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home and Prairie View Crematory of Plainview, TX.
Timothy was born on October 13, 1958, to William Max Taylor and Ruby Faye Mason Taylor.
Timothy was a friend to everyone and was easy to become friends with. A cherished family memory is when Timothy was a young boy and spotted a snake. He turned as pale as a ghost and exclaimed, "That was the biggest chicken snake I've ever seen!" However, the snake turned out to be a Diamondback Timber Rattlesnake, complete with ten rattles and a button. Timothy was a member of Church on the Hill in DeSoto, Texas. He worked as a diesel mechanic and as a driller for various oil companies, including Robinson, Cactus, and Moron. Throughout his career, Timothy drilled hundreds of wells in West Texas.
Timothy is preceded in death by his parents, William Max Taylor and Ruby Faye Mason Taylor; and his brother, Douglas Taylor.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Bettina Taylor Webb, and husband Phillip Webb of Townsend, TN; and his brother, Billy D. Taylor, and wife Rodelia L. Taylor of Mansfield, TX.
