On July 19, 1975, Timothy Shareef (Tim) Jenkins, was born the third child of 5 children to Diane Craft in Plainview, Texas.

The family then relocated from Plainview to Lubbock, Los Angeles, back to Plainview, then Austin, Texas where they joined the McKinley Heights Church of God in Christ. Tim was an active participant of Sunday School & Sunshine Band.

After Graduating from David Crockett High School, he immediately joined the military branch of the US Navy. He served this country with pride. Tim also received his Associates Degree while serving in the armed forces as well.

Tim had many friends at whatever job he held that still respect and love him. To some he was known as a quiet guy, but to most of us know he could light up a room with jokes and laughter. He loved family and was one who never met a stranger or made anyone feel like one.

He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always a man full of sage (intelligent) advice, wisdom, and knowledge. Tim always had a reasoning, explanation, answer to anything that came his way. You could always find Tim with his nose in a book, but not just reading. He was sponge when it came to learning.

He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known his kind & gentle ways. He will be remembered as a loving, caring, and warm son, father, brother, and friend.

One thing that we can be assured is that Tim believed, had faith and trusted in God. He was trained up as a child in the way he should go and though he became old, it never departed from him nor he from it.

Tim departed this life when he sat down to rest in the arms of Jesus on June 10, 2021.

Tim is preceded in death by his mother: Diane Craft.

Those left to cherish his memory is his beloved children: Marisa Sweat, Jodeci Roberts, Jordyn Roberts, Kyron Ybarra & Canaan Jenkins of Plainview, Texas.

Sisters with spouses: LaShawn & Clint Finley, of Lufkin, Melissa & Eric Parker, Anissa (Natira) & Nick Byers of Austin, Texas.

Brother: Daniel Watson of Pflugerville, Texas

Maternal Grandmother: Hazel McCray of Plainview

Stepfathers: Melvin Jenkins & Donald Watson. Step Sisters: Erica Mims & Rosha Watson of Austin, Texas.

Godparents, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of family & friends.

A memorial service will be held @2:00P.M., Thursday, June 24, 2021
