Thomas Jefferson "T.J." Henderson, 79, passed away from this Earth on Monday, August 12, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Bartley Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Center Plains Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

T.J was born on May 2, 1940 to Thomas Henderson Sr and Anna Emily (Miller) Henderson. He worked for Bell Helicopter for 35 years until he retired. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed being outdoors but above all he loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Michael Henderson of Fort Worth, Texas, Timothy (Charlie) Henderson of Plainview, Texas, Barbara Henderson of White Settlement, Texas, and Yvonne Perkinson and husband, Dickey, of Covington, Texas. Sisters; Charla Cook of Plainview, Texas, Rachel Taylor of McKinney, Texas, Mary Black of Round Rock, Texas, and Anna Leigh Morris of Crane, Texas. He leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

T.J. was proceeded in death by parents Thomas Henderson Sr and Anna Emily (Miller) Henderson.
