Terry Dunlap, 57, of Plainview, passed away on February 6, 2020. A service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. with Reverend Michael Heckman officiating. A visitation at Bartley Funeral Home will be Friday, February 14, 2020 from 5-7 p.m.
Terry was born to Phebia Dunlap and Ira Joe Goodwin on November 20, 1962 in Plainview, Texas. Terry worked for Excel for seven years. He was a huge fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Lakers. He enjoyed playing pool, detailing cars, and serving the Lord. He is remembered as a friendly, mild-mannered, energetic man. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church since 2015. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother; Phebia Dunlap, daughter; Crystal ZandraDeAnn Collins-Curley and husband, James Curley, of Ft. Worth, Texas, son; Shelton Martin, sisters; Lorette Goodwin Filipe of Ft. Worth, Texas, Predenia Goodwin-Graham of Tulia, Texas, Lashell Goodwin of Lubbock, Texas, LaCresa Starks of Wichita Falls, Texas, Sharon Clabarn of Ft. Worth, Texas, Tamina Goodwin of Red Oak, Texas, Amecia Goodwin of Lubbock, Texas, Latina Jennings of Mesquite, Texas, and Annetta Jennings Hawkins of Lubbock, Texas, brothers; Stephen Dunlap of Plainview, Texas, James Dunlap of Plainview, Texas, Robert Dunlap of White Plains, Maryland, Billy Dunlap of New Orleans, Louisiana, Hollis Dunlap of Arlington, Texas, Billy Don Goodwin of Red Oak, Texas, and Trampas Goodwin of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by two grandchildren; Keyana L. Demons and Mekhi I. Shabazz.
