Susie Walker Crain, 75, passed away on June 14, 2024, in Lubbock, TX, surrounded by her family. She was born to Lawrence Walker Sr. and Lois Mosley on August 9, 1948, in Plainview, Texas.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM Monday, June 24, 2024, at Happy Union Baptist Church Plainview, Texas with Pastor Richard Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Susie attended school in Plainview, Texas. She was a fan of Western movies and playing Pacman. She loved watching basketball and football. She attended WNBA games and was a fan of the Houston Comets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and any NFL team that wasn't the Dallas Cowboys. One of her favorite pastimes was riding around town in her van. She was a member of Happy Union Baptist Church and loved spending time with her church family. Susie enjoyed visiting with people and often travel ed to Amarillo to see her friends . She loved and was very proud of her four grandchildren.

Susie leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, Samuel and Sonja Walker of Phoenix, AZ, and Anthony Shane Walker of Houston, TX. Her "adopted daughter" Yudid Gomez of Houston, TX. Her sister, Trac y and Michael Black of Midland, TX. Her brother, Lawrence, Jr. and Etta Walker of Dallas, TX. Her grandchildren: Kayla Walker, Samuel Walker, Jr., Jay-Darian Walker, and Jaylawne Walker. Her sweet friend Maria Silva of Plainview, TX. And numerous nieces and nephews.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Walker, Sr. and Lois Mosley, and her brother, Clyde Walker, Sr.
