Sue McDonald, 75, of Wolfforth, TX, departed this world and entered Heaven's gates on November 7, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Bartley Funeral Home in Plainview, Texas. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 5-7p.m.

Sue was born on October 20, 1946, to William and Louise (Lyberger) McMickings in Anniston, Alabama. She married the love of her life, Tommy McDonald, on January 2, 1970 and were blessed with two sons. They resided in Plainview, Texas. They moved to Wolfforth in 1980 where Sue had her own gift shop in Lubbock, Texas.

Sue will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and dear friend.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband; Tommy McDonald of Wolfforth, Texas, her sons; John Thomas McDonald and wife, Kelly, of Lubbock, Texas, and Cory Richard McDonald and wife, Amy, of Hammond, Louisiana, three grandchildren; Brittani McDonald and husband, Chaney, Austin McDonald and wife, Julie, and Kendal Wilbanks, and a brother; Gregory Patterson and wife, Pam, of Moody, Alabama. Sue was blessed with many dear friends who will miss her greatly.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents; William and Louise (Lyberger) McMickings, stepfather; John Heath, grandmother; Mamie Heath, and a brother; William Carl McMickings.
