Sherry Dell Alexander, 59, of Plainview, passed from this life on December 5, 2018. Services will be held on December 15, 2018 at United Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m, in Plainview, Texas. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A wake will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 from 4-7pm.

Sherry Dell Alexander was born on September 5, 1959 in Plainview, Texas to Mattie Alexander and Thomas Riggins. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1978 and attended Wayland Baptist University for two years. Sherry moved to Dallas, Texas in 1984 and received a degree in Medical Administration from Everest College.

She was married to Benjamin DeGraf for 7 years. Sherry returned to Plainview in 2004 where she enjoyed living with her mother and family.

She is preceded in death by her loving grandmother Ethel Lean Alexander, her father Thomas Riggins, her sister Cynthia Riggins Hearn and her brother-in-Law Mitchell Hearn. She leaves to cherish her memories and life her Mother Mattie Alexander, sisters Deborah Alexander Bundage, Mira Alexander, Della Riggins, Marleta Davis, Cheryl Nunley, and Lisa Riggins; brothers Wesley Alexander, Marty Alexander, John Riggins, Ruben Riggins, Mark Riggins, and Jamie Riggins.
