Shameka Rochelle Jordan-Grant, 44, of Ft. Worth, TX, formerly Plainview,  passed from this life on May 9, 2020. Services will be held Friday, May 22, 2020 at Bartley Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park.

Shemeka Rochelle Jordan-Grant Was born on November 27,1975 to Yvonne Johnson & Paul McDaniel. Later Shemeka joined in union with her mother & Richard Jordan.

Throughout her life Shemeka participated at a young age in Girl Scouts, and will always be remembered for her slumber parties and her love for scary movies.

Shemeka leaves to cherish her memory one daughter; Jaberlyin Grant of Fort Worth, Texas. Also left to cherish her memories are her parents; Richard Jordan Sr & Yvonne Jordan of Fort Worth, Texas, sister; Shannon Compton and husband, Curtis, of Plainview, Texas, and brother; Richard (Woggie) Jordan Jr of Fort Worth, Texas.

Additionally, Shemeka leaves to mourn her passing brothers: Patrick, Nathan, Dibiashi, Zonntag & Taber as well as sisters Lafonda, Miroir & Mia.

Shemeka also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews

Shemeka was proceeded in death by her grandparents Wyoming & Maxine Johnson , Olden and Odessia Jordan as well as one brother; Preston Jordan.
