A Celebration of Life Service for Shannon Denice Jenkins Clayborne, 46, of Lubbock, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the First Baptist Church 205 W. 8 ^th Street in Plainview with H.K. Thompson, Pastor of New Mount Olive Baptist Church in Littlefield, officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Bartley Funeral Home in Plainview. Mrs. Clayborne passed from this life on July 19, 2018 in Plainview.

Shannon was born on January 22, 1972 in Lockney to Wyoma Johnson Jr and Debra Lynn Jenkins. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1991. She married Marvin Clayborne on June 7, 2002 at the Hale County Court House in Plainview. Shannon worked as a personal investor and she was also a homemaker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; Marvin Clayborne of Lubbock, her children; Shanayla Denice Clayborne of Lubbock, Dasmine Devion Riggins of San Angelo, and Marvin Anthony Clayborne, Jr of Lubbock, her mother; Debra Lynn Jenkins Halley of Plainview, three sisters; Peggy Bell, Deann Sholes, and Brittany Johnson, two brothers; Mark Jenkins and Wyoma Johnson, Jr, six grandchildren, her maternal grandfather; N.C. Jenkins and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother; Jean Jenkins, and her paternal grandparents; Maxine Johnson and Wyoma Johnson, Sr.
