Memorial services for Serena Talley Rupe, 38 of Plainview will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Seth Ward Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Anderson officiating and Rev. Richard Miller assisting. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Serena passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012 in Lubbock. She was born on June 2, 1974 in Friona, Texas to Bobby and Linda Talley. She grew up in Clovis, N.M. and attended Clovis schools. She was a homemaker and a member of Seth Ward Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Oliver Rupe of Plainview; 1 son, Andrew Rupe of Plainview; 2 daughters, Sarah and Abigail Rupe both of Plainview; her mother, Linda Talley of Plainview and 1 brother, Joseph Talley of Plainview. She is preceded in death by her father, 3 uncles and 2 aunts.
