Selia Santos Casillas, a woman whose life was defined by the deep and unconditional love she held for her family, passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 80.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home and Prairie View Crematory in Plainview, TX.

Born on March 13, 1945, in Derby, Texas, to Refugio and Gregoria Guzman Santos, Selia grew up with a heart rooted in the values of faith and family.

On March 5, 1960, Selia married the love of her life, Rafael Delgado Casillas. Over 63 years of marriage, they shared a lifetime of beautiful memories, often found dancing together as they celebrated their bond. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, Selia was the cornerstone of her home and the very meaning of true strength. Her faith remained at the center of her heart, and her prayers were a constant source of safety and comfort for her family.

Selia's happiness was found in the laughter of her children and the growth of her grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking and decorating, especially during the holidays, and she delighted in bringing the family together for cookouts and music. For Selia, family was her reason to breathe and her greatest joy; she lived to soak in every beautiful moment spent in their company.

She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a reminder to cherish the ones we love most.

Selia is preceded in death by her parents, Refugio and Gregoria Guzman Santos; and siblings Virginia Martinez, Maria Saldana, Carmelita Rodriguez, Pancho Santos, Manual Santos, Juan Guzman, Refugio Santos and Cruz Santos.

Those left to cherish Selia's memories are her husband Rafael Delgado Casillas of Floydada; her children, Elsie Rendon of Plainview, Ralph Casillas of Lubbock, Robert Casillas & wife Sandra of Floydada, Richard Casillas & wife Carmella of Lubbock, and Russell Casillas & wife Yadira of Floydada; Her grandchildren Jackie Hernandez, Jade Rendon, Trey Casillas, Krece Casillas, Audrie Rockwall, Lee Casillas, Brianna McRae, David Suarez, Adam Saurez, Angela Moore, Andrez Suarez, Derrick Suarez, Mariah Wallace, Dylan Ortega, Reilly Casillas, Peyton Casillas, Russell Casillas Jr., Ryan Casillas, Lindsey Marquez, and Brandon Marquez; 38 great-grandchildren and three on the way.
