Sara Billings, 83, of Plainview, passed away on September 13, 2022. No services are scheduled at this time.

Sara was born on August 19, 1939, to Hubert and Jannetty (Shackford) Howerton in Comanche, Texas. She married David Billings.

Those left to cherish her memory is her daughters; La Sonya Washington of Carrolton, Texas and Barbara Mendoza and husband, Gabriel, of Plainview, a sister; Geraldine Cook of Grand Prairie, Texas, and a brother; William Howerton. Sara was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Sara is preceded in death by her parents;  Hubert and Jannetty (Shackford) Howerton and her husband, David Billings.
