Santos was a beloved Father, Grandfather, brother, great-grandfather, family member, and friend whose kindness, humor, and unforgettable smile touched everyone who knew him. He was born on November 1, 1932, to Pedro V. Niabes and Blasa Vasquez in Mathis, TX. He married Maria Angelita in 1953 in Littlefield, Texas, and then moved to Hart, where they resided.
Santos devoted his life to his children and grandchildren, always putting their needs first. He spent many years working in construction and devoted most of his life to farming, tending the land with care and dedication. Santos took immense pride in the life he built, always surrounded by the love of his family. Humble and selfless, he worked tirelessly to provide for those he cherished. He found joy in fishing, especially in the Gulf of Mexico off Padre Island, and treasured time spent dancing and listening to music. Santos delighted in sharing jokes and looked forward to his morning coffee and sweetbread, simple pleasures that brought him happiness.
Above all, Santos will be remembered for his caring heart, his sense of humor, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. His memories will forever be cherished, and his love and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Santos passing leaves an emptiness that can never be filled, but his legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on forever.
He is survived by his sister, Alicia V. Rangel; his son, Pedro V. Niabes; his daughter, San Juanita Niabes; his grandchildren, David Christopher Pinon, Cassandra L. Niabes, Joey Llamas, Pedro Niabes Jr, Cristina L. Parker, Brittany Saenz; seventeen great-grandchildren; his Pet Jack and numerous nieces & nephews.
