With great sorrow we announce the passing of Ronny Mack Meals "Poot" on June 14, 2025. Visitation and viewing with service of remembrance will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Bartley Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home.

Ronny was born on January 13, 1956, to Charles and Annie Meals in Petersburg, Texas.

Poot was an exceptional individual, known for his infectious humor and cheerful spirit. Always quick to share a laugh, he brought joy to those around him. Beyond his lighthearted nature, Poot possessed remarkable intelligence and a serious demeanor, which allowed him to express his ideas with clarity and conviction. He was a hardworking man and a member of the New Jerusalem Church in Finney.

Ronny is survived by his sister, Diann (Robert) Pitts of Plainview, TX; his brothers, Lester Meals of Lawton, OK, Dewey Meals of Tulia, TX, Julius Meals of Oklahoma City, OK, and Donald Meals of Plainview, TX; Plus, numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Annie Meals, and his brothers Alonzo Meals, Mitchel Meals, Charles Meals Jr, and Ricky Meals.
