Memorial services for Robert "Bobby" Talley, 62 of Plainview will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday February 8, 2012 at Seth Ward Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Anderson officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. He died Sunday February 5, 2012 in Plainview. He was born on September 2, 1949 in Plainview to Allen and Louise Talley. He farmed most of his life and was a licensed minister. He was a member of Seth Ward Baptist Church. Survivors include, His Wife, Linda Talley of Plainview, 1 Daughter, Serena Rupe of Plainview, 1 Son, Joseph Talley of Plainview, 4 Brothers, Kenneth Talley of Halfway, Bill Talley and Wayne Gilreath both of Plainview, and Steve Talley of Houston, 1 Sister, Allene Edge of Clovis, N.M., 7 Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.
