It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Brooks Jr., on August 5, 2025, in Lubbock, TX. Visitation will be held on Friday August 15, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bartley Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Plainview, Texas, with Bishop Leonard Chatham, Officiating. Arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home and Prairie View Crematory of Plainview.

Robert was born in Plainview, TX, on November 13, 1990, to Robert Brooks Sr. and Helen Jackson. He married Katherine Ellis on November 11, 2013, in Plainview, TX.

Robert was a member of the Rehoboth Christian Worship Center in Plainview. He was full of life and loved spending time with his children. He enjoyed playing sports and cooking for his family. One of his most cherished memories was a trip to Galveston Beach with his loved ones. The enjoyable moments he spent with his father were also very meaningful to him.

Robert is preceded in death by his brothers, Brylon Bradick and Ryan Brooks.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Katherine Ellis of Plainview TX; his children, Braylee Brooks, Kannon Brooks, Miracle Brooks, Malachi Brooks, and Amara Brooks, all of Plainview, TX; his father, Robert Brooks Sr. of Amarillo, TX; his mother, Helen Aguocha of Plainview, TX; his sisters, Roberta McGhee (Jones) of North Carolina, Nekay Durley and Kena Durley both of Amarillo, TX.
