Funeral services for Reynaldo "Rey" Rosas, 61 of Plainview will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016 at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Nelson Gonzalez officiating. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Bartley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Rosas died Sunday, August 14, 2016 in Plainview. He was born September 11, 1954 in Brownsville, Texas to Luis, Jr. and Cristina Aguilar Rosas. Rey married Irma Pena on May 17, 1974 in Brownsville, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Irma Rosas of Plainview; 6 sons, Rey Rosas, Jr. and wife Christina, Rene Rosas, Ricky Rosas and wife April, Rodney Rosas, and Rocky Rosas and wife Jennifer all of Plainview and Randy Rosas and wife Melanie of San Antonio; 1 brother, Ruben Rosas and wife Christina of Brownsville; 1 sister, Nora Cristina Cervantes of San Antonio; 23 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He is preceded in death by both parents and 1 brother, Lupe Rosas.
