Funeral services for LaShell Carter, 35, are at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, at United Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Wyatt officiating. Burial is in Plainview Cemetery under the care of Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation and viewing are from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Bartley Funeral Home. She died April 30, 2017. ReaShawn LaShell Carter was born Oct. 13, 1981, in Plainview, to Chinnie Lanell Carter and Michael Hill. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 2000. After graduating she moved to San Antonio and later Dallas. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Roscoe Carter and brother Adam Gonzales. Survivors include her mother Chinnie Carter and stepfather Herbert Roberts of Amarillo; father Michael Hill and stepmother Mary Hill of Plainview; brothers Louis Mathis of Amarillo, Fredrick Woods of Amarillo, Tyson Johnson (Natlie) of Plainview, Justin Bush (Nichole) of Plainview, Zachary Hill of Amarillo and Eli Chapa of Plainview; sisters Aurora Parker of Amarillo and Shanna McBride (Jerry) of Vernon; grandparents Rosie Carter of Amarillo and Billy and Maye Hill of Plainview; and a host of nieces and nephews.
