Ray Charles Ross, of, Lockney Texas went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Covenant Specialty Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Ross was born on December 24, 1962 in Olton, Texas to Billy Ray Ross and Alpha Jo Bell. He married Raylyn Jones Ross on October 23, 1981 in Plainview, Texas. His occupation was in construction and with Walmart in Plainview. Survivors Include: wife, Raylyn Ross of Lockney, Texas, 2 sons, Michael Ross of Lockney, Texas and Mathew Ross of Dallas, Texas and 2 daughters, Keisha Ross Davis of Lubbock, Texas and Kendra Ross of Plainview, Texas, 1 brother Billy Ross of El Paso, Texas, and 1 sister, Jackie Ross of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren Alex, Keyazha, Keyarah, Shaniah, Clyde III, K'Drian, Michael, & Annaleah. A memorial service to honor Mr. Ross will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Bartley Memorial Chapel in Plainview Texas with the Manuel Gill officiating.
