Memorial services for Ramona Hicks, 88 of Lubbock will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Lubbock with Keith Wiseman officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview.
A visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday at Celebration Christian Center, 8001 Upland in Lubbock. She died Thursday, December 12, 2013 in Lubbock. She was born on December 1, 1925 in Berlin, Wisconsin to Henry and Mable Morrow. She married Artie Hicks on May 23, 1953 in Berlin, Wisconsin. She received her Master's Degree at Texas Tech. She taught Biology and Math at Lubbock High School until her retirement in 1986. She is survived by 4 Sons, David Hicks and wife Barbara of Lubbock, Travis Hicks and wife Norma of San Antonio, Stewart Hicks and wife Julia of Lubbock and Kent Hicks of Taos, N.M.; 1 Brother, Pat Morrow; 1 Sister, Carol Montgomery and 4 Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Artie Hicks and a daughter, Jeana Hicks
