Funeral Mass for Ponce DeLeon, 50 of Plainview will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Ponce died Thursday, November 17, 2016 in Plainview. He was born August 21, 1966 in Lockney, Texas to Narcecil and Elodia DeLeon. He is survived by 2 daughters, Vanessa DeLeon of Plainview and Lea Cruishank of El Paso; 1 Son, Aaron DeLeon of New Braunfels, TX; 5 brothers, John DeLeon of El Paso, Cecil DeLeon of Lubbock, Carlos "Wolf" DeLeon, Edward DeLeon and Leon DeLeon all of Plainview; 4 sisters, Nelda DeLeon of Alaska, Rose Marie Parker of Austin, Betty Collier of North Carolina and Joann DeLeon of Oklahoma and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both parents and 1 sister, Mary E. DeLeon.
