Funeral services for Peggy Frye, 80 of Plainview will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Ron Huckeby officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Peggy passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in Lubbock. She was born on June 12, 1936 to Dennis H. and Essie Beatrice Todd. She married Joe Billy Frye on February 15, 1955 in Plainview. Peggy was a floral designer and had also worked at the Highland and Houston Schools for many years. She loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports and was an Elder at Grace Presbyterian Church. She is survived by 2 sons, Lonnie Frye and wife Donna of Canyon and Tony Frye and wife Belinda of Lubbock; 1 sister, Kay and Herbert Chaney of Plainview; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and both parents.
