Memorial Services for Pedro "Pete" Rodriguez, 72, of Hale Center, TX will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Emmanuel Worship Center in Lubbock, TX with his son Robert Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow services at Hale Center Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Rodriguez passed from this life on October 23, 2018 in Lubbock, TX.

Pete was born June 29, 1947 to Genaro and Ofelia (Sombrano) Rodriguez in Goliad, TX. Mr. Rodriguez was a Vietnam Army veteran who served our country for 2 years. He farmed and welded most of his life. He was a long-time member of the VFW.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Robert Rodriguez and wife, Natalie, of Lubbock, TX, Alice Rodriguez of Lubbock, Texas, Silvia Rodriguez of Midwest City, Ok, Delia Henderson and husband, Jay, of Choctaw, OK, Bruno Rodriguez of Vernon, TX, and Joe Rodriguez of Midwest City, OK. Siblings: Margaret Alonzo and husband, Alvin, of Hale Center, Sally Gerhardt of Crowell, TX, Raul Rodriguez and wife, Otelia, of Ballinger, TX, Belle Bresino of Hale Center, TX, Joe Rodriguez and wife, Cynthia, of Canyon, TX, Diamond Gomez and husband, Henry, of Lubbock, TX, Abel Rodriguez and wife, Elizabeth, of Okinawa, Japan, and Brenda Solano and husband, Arthur, of Levelland, TX

Pallbearers will be Noel Rodriguez, Steven Rodriguez, Jacob Alonzo, Matthew Rodriguez, Isaac Rodriguez, and Jacob Meraz.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Genaro and Ofelia Rodriguez.
