Paul Hartley Minter passed away on January 21, 2025, in Plainview, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home and Prairie View Crematory of Plainview.
Paul was born on April 3, 1952, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Worth Storye and Mary Ann Minter.
Paul grew up in Sweetwater, Texas, and graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1970. He attended Texas Community College (TCC) in Fort Worth, where he studied to become an electrician. A simple man who lived a straightforward life, Paul will always be remembered for his friendliness, compassion, and willingness to help anyone in need. He had a passion for animals and enjoyed conversations with people. One of his fond memories was visiting USC with his brother Leonard, where they had the opportunity to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Worth and Mary Ann Minter, and his brother, Leonard Clifton Minter.
He is survived by his sister Jan and husband, Jimmie Wayne Henington of Fort Worth, Plus, his friends he has gained throughout his lifetime.
In place of flowers, the family suggests donating to the humane society in honor of Paul and his love for animals.
