Memorial Services for Paul Allen, 81 of Plainview will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Ronald Huckeby officiating. Burial of Cremains will follow in Halfway Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Allen died Monday, January 2, 2017 in Plainview. He was born on June 17, 1935 in Maulden, Kentucky to William Randolph and Lillie Allen. He married Judy Moss on February 29, 1980 in Azle, Texas. Paul was a truck driver for 40 years and trained horses for 10 years. He was a member of Halfway Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Air Force. He is survived by his wife Judy Allen of Plainview; 1 sister, Shirley Spivey; 3 children, Lynn Holden, Tim Allen and Melissa Allen; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Charles, Clyde and Dallas Allen and 1 sister, Pearl Kilburn.
