Funeral services for Owen Caleb "Bo" Blankenship, Jr., 83 of Marble Falls, Texas, formerly of Plainview will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Dr. Max Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Blankenship died Saturday, October 4, 2014. He married Nell Pritchett on April 19, 1952 in Abilene, Texas. Bo was owner of Blankenship Sheet Metal and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Bo had just returned from Washington on the Honor Flight out of Lubbock. He is survived by 1 son, Michael Blankenship and his wife Connie of Austin, Texas, granddaughter, Elisabeth Hull Meyer, grandson, James Hull and two great grandchildren all of Austin. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nell, one daughter and both parents.
