Odilia Villarreal Rodriguez, 72 of Amarillo, formerly Lockney, departed this earthly world on March 6, 2021 and entered heaven's gates. Services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Bartley Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Lockney Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9, 2020 at Bartley Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m.

Odilia was born on August 8, 1948 to Tomas and Maria (De La Luz) Villarreal in Miguel Aleman, Mexico. She came to the U.S. at 5 years old and moved to Lockney as a young girl. Odilia worked for Lockney Rehab Center and retired after 32 years of caring for others. She was a fighter who battled cancer and won in 2013. She was a strong and hardworking woman who provided for her family. She was very spiritual with her relationship with The Lord. She also enjoyed dancing and was very outgoing.

Her family will remember her as the most loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Mary Ellen Mejia an husband, Miguel, of Amarillo, Yolanda Hernandez of Kerrville, Carolina Nunez and husband, Juan, of Lockney, Diana Ramos and husband, Ruben, of Lubbock, Criselda Gonzalez of Amarillo, Annabell Hernandez of Amarillo, Stacy Al Kilani and husband, Othman, of Amarillo, and Ramon Gonzalez and wife, Alexandria, of Amarillo. Odilia was blessed with 34 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Odilia is preceded in death by her parents Tomas and Maria Villarreal and a grandson; Austin Ray Gonzalez.
