Funeral services for Nina Jo Turner-Green, 57 of Plainview will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Happy Union Baptist Church with Minister Gloria Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A wake will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She was born on February 19, 1957 in Plainview to Johnny and Emma Cook Turner. She was a Family Advocacy Coordinator for Central Plains Center and a member of Happy Union Baptist Church. She is survived by 5 brothers, Roger Turner and wife Sue, Joe Turner and wife Gloria, Allen Turner and Darrin Turner and wife Lisa all of Plainview and Delbert Turner of Houston; 3 sisters, Martha Turner and Era Turner both of Plainview and Carolyn White of Grand Prairie. She is preceded in death by both parents; 1 brother, Johnny Turner, Jr. and 1 sister, Billie Roy.
