Neatem Crocket Jenkins, 88, well known as N.C. passed from this life and entered
heaven on May 13, 2020. Services will be held a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Bartley Funeral Home.

N.C. was born to late Will and Rivertia Jenkins in San
Augustine Texas on May 7, 1932. N.C. made Plainview, Texas his home where he went
on to have a successful club business for over 55 years. N.C enjoyed dancing, playing
pool, and spending time with his family. N.C. lived by example, He would tell his
children and grandchildren, "Look at me, I got everything I have by reading the bible and
doing what God told me to do. That's not bad for someone with a 3 rd  grade education."
And laugh. N.C was always there to provide guidance and wisdom to anyone who
needed it, even if you didn't want to hear it. You will be missed dearly, until we meet
again.
It was his wish to be cremated and to have his ashes spread on the land he owned. A
private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have
been entrusted to Bartley funeral home of Plainview.
N.C is survived by his five children, Melvin Jenkins of Austin, Debra Hallcy of Plainview,
Daffrean Jenkins of Plainview, Tempest Jenkins of Arlington, and Rochelia (Rocky)
Jenkins of Arlington. 10 grandchildren, Peggy Jo Bell, Mark Jenkins, Deann Sholes,
Melissa Jenkins, Lashawn Jenkins-Finley, Tim Jenkins, Rochelle Jenkins, A'Zevyah
Penn, Ja'Zevian Penn, and Laffrean Jenkins, 13 great grandchildren, 18 great great
grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
N.C. has joined in heaven Jean Jenkins, his brother B. L. Jenkins, and three sisters
Edna 'Sis' Hobbs, Lavern 'Sal' Bell, and Margie Swindle, and his granddaughter
Shannon Clayborne.
