Funeral Services for Maubrey Ray Riley, 84 of Plainview, formerly of Carlsbad N.M. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3 ^rd , in Bartley Memorial Chapel with Ron Huckeby officiating.  Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview.  Graveside services will be November 3 ^rd , 4:00 pm (mountain time) at Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, New Mexico . Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday night at Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Riley passed away Friday, October 30 ^th 2015 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.  He was born July 18 ^th , 1931 in Lamesa, Texas to John Riley and Opal Truitt Riley.  He married Anita Riley on Jan 15 ^th 1956 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.  She died on March 23, 1994.  He was a veteran in the United States Air Force.  He worked as a miner in the pot ash mines in Carlsbad, New Mexico.  He had lived in Plainview for the past six years.  Survivors include two sons: Rocky Riley and wife Shauna of Carlsbad, NM, Shawn Riley and wife Jennifer of Plainview,  one brother Connie Riley and wife Brenda of Carlsbad, NM, one sister Darlene Abbott of Carlsbad, NM, six grandchildren Jeremy Clifford of Dexter, NM, Jason Clifford of Tulsa, OK, Tesa Riley of Carlsbad, NM, Tyler Riley of Carlsbad, NM, and Robert Riley and Reed Riley of Plainview, TX.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Riley, and twin sister Audrey and brother Pat.
