Mary Jane Sarver met her lord and savior in Plainview, TX, on Sunday, December 14, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at First Church of the Nazarene in Plainview, TX with Pastor Kristi O'Riley, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview.

Mary Jane was born on November 15, 1967, to Ruben T. Reyes and Janie (Morales) Reyes. She married Barry Sarver on June 22, 2012, in Plainview, TX.

Mary was a devoted member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Plainview, TX, where she kept her faith strong throughout her life. Her kindhearted nature shone through in her desire to bring peace and harmony to those around her. In her spare time, she found joy in crocheting and faithfully praying for others. Above all, Mary cherished time with her family. Whether sharing meals together or simply being present, these moments meant everything to her. Throughout most of her adult life, she worked in home health care, compassionately assisting retired schoolteachers, PSID employees, and Wayland's former staff members.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories are her husband, Barry Sarver of Plainview, TX; her mother, Janie (Morales) Reyes; her children, Elizabeth Gordon of Plainview, TX, Zach Sarver of Lubbock, TX, Tye Sarver of Lubbock, TX; her sisters, Charlene Hilerio ( John) Of Austin, TX, Patricia Reyes of Plainview, TX, Judy Reyes (Tanya) of Plainview, TX; her brothers, Ruben Reyes (Michelle) of Plainview, TX, Ricky Reyes (Michelle) of Lubbock, TX, Randy Reyes (Lupe) of Lubbock, TX; three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ruben T. Reyes, and  grandparents, Vincent and Maria "Grandma Nina" Morales.
