Martina was born to Antonio and Felipa (Martinez) Lozano on November 11, 1928 in Durango, Mexico. She married Maurillio Calderon Moran. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and tending to her plants. She was known as a green thumb. Martina was a devoted spiritual woman and prayer warrior. She was a proud Guadalupana and a member of St. Johns Catholic Church in Hart, Texas. Ms. Moran deeply and fiercely loved her children and grandchildren. She took her grandchildren into her home and raised them after her daughter passed away.
