Funeral Mass for Maria De Jesus Reyes, 76 of Kress will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday November 21, 2012 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Kress with Fr. Marcos Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow at Kress Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Reyes passed away on Sunday November 18, 2012 in Lubbock. She was born on November 3, 1936 in San Marcos, TX to Augustine Alonzo Sr. and Consuelo Cortez. She married Andres Reyes Sr. on December 1, 1957 in Tulia. He passed away on June 2, 2004.
She was a Guadalupana and long time member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Kress.

Survivors include one son, Andres Reyes Jr. and wife Maria L. Reyes of Kress; three daughters, Thelma Vuittonet and husband Enrique Sr., Vicky Reyes and Felipa Cruz and husband Luis Sr. all of Kress;
two brothers, Augustine Alonzo Jr. and Albert Alonzo Sr. both of San Marcos, TX; eight sisters, Sister Frances Alonzo of Juarez, Mexico, Celia DeLeon of Grand Fork, MN, Margie Alvarez, Mary Alice Garcia, Gloria Castillo, Delia Mendoza, Janie Alvarez and Josephine Gonzalez all of San Marco, TX; six grandchildren, Erika, Enrique Jr. with Monica Luna, Eddie Vuittonet, Reina Perales, Luis Cruz Jr. and Andrew Reyes III; one great grandson, Kobie Alexander Vuittonet;

She was preceded in death by: her dad Augustine Alonzo Sr., one brother Joe Anthony Alonzo and husband Andres Reyes Sr.
