Funeral Mass for Maria Remedios Castillo, 68 of Plainview will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Nahum Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Maria passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 in Lubbock. She was born December 14, 1947 in Mexico to Daniel and Maria de Jesus Hernandez Molinar. She is survived by 2 sons, Oscar and Lucy Molinar and Fermin Castillo & Michelle Rodriguez; 5 daughters, Valentina Molinar & James Miner, Deborah and David Stahl, Elida Castillo & Johnathan Valdez, Gloria Castillo & Casey Perez and Josie Castillo & Johnny Pena; 1 brother, Daniel Molinar; 4 sisters, Rosa Irma Molinar, Maria Jesus Molinar, Aurelia Molinar and Socorro Molinar; 28 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 1 grandson, Jaivyn Joriah Gomez; both parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
