Graveside services for Margie Lee Alford, 80 of Canyon will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 in Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon with Rev. Rick Enns, Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Canyon officiating. Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. Alford passed away Monday, November 2 in Amarillo. She was born November 21, 1934 in Gray County, Texas to Bert and Juanita McKee. She married Allen Alford on July 13, 1958 in Groom, Texas. She was homemaking teacher, reading teacher and high school counselor at Spearman ISD for 38 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Canyon. She is survived by her husband Allen Alford of Canyon; 1 son, Scott Alford and wife Jan of Plainview; 2 grandsons, Riley Scott Alford and Harrison Beck Alford both of Plainview; 1 brother, Bill McKee of McLean, Texas. She is preceded in death by both parents.
