Church Services for Margarita Soto, 70, of Plainview, will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Templo Sinai with Ignacio Soto officiating and Hope Vaquera assisting. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bartley Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Soto passed from this life on October 25, 2017 in Lubbock.

Margarita was born on September 3, 1947 in Rocksprings, Texas to Salomon and Maria (Castillo) Flores. She married Lucio Soto on June 7, 1985 in Plainview.  Margarita was a member of Templo Emmanuel in Plainview.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 32 years; Lucio Soto, her children; Tirso Carrillo and wife Yvonne of Lubbock, Gerald Carrillo and wife Becky of Lubbock, Ricky Carrillo of Plainview, Mike Carrillo of Ft. Worth, Danny Carrillo and wife Liza of Plainview, Roy Carrillo and wife Romie of San Angelo, Mary Ann Perez and husband Albert of Waxahachie, her siblings; Ofelia Cadena of Glencoe Minnesota, Consuello Franco and husband Jose of Rocksprings, Sylvia Mendez and  husband Able of Dimmitt, Jose Flores and wife Eloisia of Rocksprings, her parents; Salomon and Maria Flores, thirty grandchildren and forty-two great-grandchildren.

Those serving as pallbearers are her grandsons; Ricky Carrillo, Matthew Carrillo, Christopher Carrillo, Gerald Carrillo, Brandon Perez, and Robert Cervantez. Honorary pallbearer is Joshua Carrillo.
