Funeral mass for Margarita Noriega, 90 of Kress will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday October 3, 2011 at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church in Kress with Rev. Marco Gonzalez officiating. Burial will be at Kress Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A Divine Mercy Chaplet Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church and A rosary will also be held at 7:00 pm Sunday at the church. The body will be at the church till service time. She died Friday September 30, 2011 in Kress. She was born October 11, 1920 to Marcelino and Anastacia Rodriquez. She married Silverio F. Noriega on May 6, 1944 in Martindale, TX. He died May 5, 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church in Kress. Survivors include three sons; Guadalupe, Jose, and Juan Noriega all of Kress; three daughters; Anita Tijerina of Kress, Francis Noriega of San Marcos, and Betty Cantu of Aurora, CO; four sisters; Jesusa Delgado, Francisca Delgado, Mauricia Saucedo, and Ramona Rodriquez all of San Marcos, Tx. 24 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, one sister; Isabel Rodriquez and three brothers; Soledad, Martin and Augustin Rodriquez.
