Memorial service was held at 1:00 pm at Bartley Memorial Chapel. She died Friday, February 21, 2014 in Plainview. She was born on December 7, 1934 in Floresville, Texas to Juan Sanchez and Josepha Arenas. She married Julian Castaneda on October 8, 1956 in Floydada Texas. She was a member of 9th & Columbia Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband Julian Castaneda Sr. of Plainview, 2 Sons: Julian Castaneda Jr. and wife Barbara of Plainview, Daniel S. Castaneda and wife Gracie Garza of Lamar, CO, 1 Daughter: Delia Lopez with husband Valentin of Plainview. 2 Brothers: Rudy Sanchez with wife Maria of Altus, OK, Andrew Sanchez with wife Sylvia of Plainview, 5 Sisters: Maria Garces of Hollis,OK, Lupe Castillo with husband Juan of Monroe, LA, Juanita Luna of Lockney, TX, Josephina Rodriquez of Hollis, OK, Ramona Nunez with husband Ricardo of Plainview.
