Funeral services for Manuelita S. Lopez, 78 of Plainview will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Minister Delfino Ruiz officiating and Israel Valdez assisting. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Manuelita died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in Plainview. She was born on December 7, 1934 in Floresville, Texas to Juan and Josephine Sanchez.

She is survived by, 1 Son, Edward Valdez and wife Carmen of Lindale, Texas; 3 Daughters, Leonor Mejia and husband Juan of Balch Springs, Texas, Martha Garcia of Plainview and Josie Garcia and husband Roy of Plainview; 6 Sisters, Margarita Castaneda of Plainview, Juana Luna of Lockney, Josephine Rodriguez of Hollis, Oklahoma, Maria Garzes of Hollis, Oklahoma, Lupe Castillo of Monroe, Louisiana and Romana Nunez of Plainview; 2 Brothers, Rudy Sanchez of Altos, Oklahoma and Andrew Sanchez of Plainview; 11 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by, 4 Brothers, Francisco, Alselmo, Juan, Jr. and Castro Sanchez and 1 Grandchild.
