Funeral Mass for Manuela Martinez, 76 of Kress will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Kress with Father Marco Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow in Kress Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church. She passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Kress. She was born on September 20, 1937 in Rosebud, Texas to Cipriano and Lorenza DeLeon Paz. She married Santos Sandoval Martinez on January 3, 1977 in Abernathy, TX. She is survived by 1 daughter, Nancy Bustos and husband Jose of Kress, 2 granddaughters, Gabriela and Mariana Bustos of Kress, 1 brother, Basilio Paz of Greeley, Colorado; 3 special nephews, Eli Paz, Martin Herrera and Juan Paz and several other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, 1 brother and 4 sisters.
