Graveside Services for Manuel Minjarez, Sr., 84, of Hart, will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Hart Cemetery with Father Arockiaraj "Raj" Malapady officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Minjarez, Sr., passed from this life on December 6, 2017 in Dimmitt.

Manuel was born on January 18, 1933 in La Regina, Mexico to Ramona Paez and Atinilado Minjarez. He married Maria Anchondo and from this union they had five children; Manuel Jr., Dagoberto, Juan Angel, Ramon, and Marisela.  Manuel worked for Preston Upshaw for 30 years as a farm hand until he retired. He was very sociable person and he loved his family. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Maria Minjarez of the home, his children; Manuel Minjarez, Jr. and wife Carmen of Hart, Dagoberto Minjarez of Amarillo, Juan Angel Minjarez of Amarillo, Ramon Minjarez and wife Nidia of Hart, and Marisela Olivas and husband Luis of Hart, one sister; Isabell Minjarez of California, twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
