Lydia Raybal Saiz, 71, of Plainview, departed from this earthly world on October 14, 2020. Memorial services will be Monday, October 19, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Bartley Memorial Chapel.  Cremation arrangements are under the care of Bartley Funeral Home.

Lydia was born on January 22, 1949 to Dorodeo and Pauline Raybal in Hale Center, Texas where she grew up.

Lydia was a quiet woman who reading and thrift shopping. She loved music and her favorite genres were country and spanish.  Above all, Lydia cherished her family and the time they spent together. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Those left to remember her legacy are her children, Cynthia Saiz of San Antonio, Texas, Christina Pabon and husband, Walter, of San Antonio, Paul Anthony Saiz of Plainview, Chriselda Saiz of Austin, Texas, Randy Saiz of Plainview, Claudia Garza of Plainview, and Daniel Saiz and wife, Sonja, of Plainview, siblings; Tony Raybal and wife, Karen, of Plainview, David Raybal and wife, Marilyn, of Idaho, Emma Ortega and husband, Antonio, of Houston, Joann Featherston of Idaho, Olivia Raybal of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Aloysa George and husband, Paul, of Amarillo.

Lydia was also blessed with 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Lydia is preceded in death by her husband; Paul Saiz Sr. and her parents; Dorodeo and Pauline Raybal.
