Funeral services for Luis Manuel "Pei-Wee" Carrasco, Sr., 40 of Plainview will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at Bartley Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Carrasco died on Thursday, December 6, 2012 in Plainview. He was born on August 20, 1972 in Abernathy, Texas. He was a big hearted person who loved his family and was a big time joker. He loved boxing and football and lived life the best way he could. He is survived by his parents and step-mothers, Juan Manuel Carrasco, Sr., Nelda Carrasco, Janie Carrasco and Gina Garza; 3 sons, Luis Manuel Carrasco, Jr. of Crystal City, Isiah Carrasco of Plainview and Manuel Anthony Carrasco of Olton; 2 daughters, Dominique Carrasco and husband Jorge Barrios of Crystal City and Samantha Carrasco of Olton; 7 brothers, Joe Anthony Carrasco of Kermit, David Molina of Lubbock, Aaron and Juan Anthony Carrasco, Jr. of Plainview, Daniel Barrios of Olton, Micheal Hernandez of Arlington and Miguel Angel Hernandez of Irving; 6 sisters, Michelle Gonzales of Plainview, Naomi Carrasco of Hereford, Racheal Hernandez and Brenda Saldivar both of Irving and Yvonne and Stephanie Barrios of Olton; 1 grandson, Jorge L. Barrios and 1 grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by, 1 daughter, Monique La'Shae' Carrasco and his grandparents. He will always be loved and in our hearts, but never forgotten. Rest In Peace.
