Luis Arturo Magallanes, 54, passed away on October 7, 2023.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Bartley Memorial Chapel at 1:00 PM.

Luis Arturo Magallanes was born on July 19, 1969, in Piedras Negras, Mexico to Francisco and Maria Magallanes.

He was a manager at Cargill for nine years and he also managed at the Peanut Factory. He coached Lujan Taekwondo for many years. Luis was an avid 49ers fan and also enjoyed watching UFC fights. He enjoyed cookouts with family and friends. His heart was in traveling and seeing new things. No matter the destination, he could find the beauty.

Luis is survived by his children, Luis Arthur Magallanes (Katrina), Anthony Magallanes, Andrew Magallanes, John Gray, Valin Guerrero, Ashley Gray.  One sister, Norma Magallanes Loza (Jose). Six brothers, Robert Magallanes (Angel), Armando Magallanes (Angie), Joe Magallanes (Cindy), Francisco Magallanes (Marie), Jesus Magallanes (Estella), and Juan Magallanes. 11 grandchildren whom he loved and adored and a host of nieces and nephews.

Luis was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Maria Magallanes, and a sister, Esmeralda Magallanes.
