Obituary

Lois Jackson Funeral services for Lois Jackson, 65, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Emery Sumberlin, senior pastor of Throne of Grace International Ministries in Fort Worth, officiating and the Rev. Helen Brooks, pastor of Outcast International Ministries in Plainview, assisting. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Jackson died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born May 4, 1943, in Anton to Frank Johnson Sr., and Ruth Douglas Johnson Wooley. She attended Booker T. Washington School and worked for Hale County State Bank for more than 20 years. She was a member of Outcast International Ministries. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Alton and Sadelia Jackson of Arlington; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Linda and Frankie Walzier Sr. of Houston, Carolyn and Randy Hearn of Lubbock and Helen and Robert Brooks Sr. of Plainview; one sister, Mamie Ola Macon of Fort Worth; three brothers, Richard Lee Johnson and Arthur Dewayne Wooley, both of Grand Prairie, and Douglas Johnson of Houston; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her parents; daughter, Sharon Jackson; four brothers, Frank Johnson Jr., Claudia Ray Johnson, Don Johnson and David Wooley; and two sisters, Carolyn Wooley and Frances Wooley, are deceased.
